C5 crew's beach time & BBQ

A class activity, which was a barbecue picnic was organized on last Saturday at Tanjung Aru Beach 2. Out of the 25 members, 24 turned up to make this event more memorable, since this is the final semester.

So, here are some of the captured moments! A big Thank You to Dewi and Hidayah for lending the blog some pictures :)

Besides filling up our stomach, we also did a game where we first spun 10 times and all group members must gather at one circle within a determined period of time.

Like these....
Another one was word-hunting within 40 minutes while trying to eliminate the other group members.

After we were left with the last survivors, it was time to wrap it all up, and just before the sun was straight up. But before that, group photos first!

So, it was really a fun and memorable event. Thanks to all who participated and thanks, too, to the game organizers. Hope we can do this again in the near future, even when we are already in schools

Also, a review by me in my personal blog HERE. Same story.

We've done with Asian Literature. We're definitely going to miss Madam Rosalind. She is such a great lecturer. We took some photos during the class to eternalize the moments that we've shared with her.

New Face. Finally.

After so long, our blog is finally back in action (hopefully)...

with a NEW face!

It's simpler (sometimes, LESS is more), cleaner and better!

So how do you like the face-lift?

Haha!

Class Photo Shoot Session 2011 ♥

*Contributed by Ashley*

The class, Gaya TESL Cohort 5 had a photo shoot on last Monday at our Faculty of Education/INTEC. All 25 of us gathered at the allocated site; each then got busy picking out and trying on the coats provided before taking our places in front of the camera. Most of us looked excited, it seem :D

Had some trouble sorting out ourselves to form a shape.

Walk a Mile With Us

Ladies and gentlemen,

shall I announce,
the end of misery for all C5 members.
Yay!!!

at least for for now :P
although part 6 will be dealing with double or maybe triple pain and blood,
this semester should be a kind reminder of how terrible the next semester will be 0.o

and yeah, it's been a while since the last time this blog was updated :P
Hence it would be great if there are more entry contributors from C5 crew.
so if there is anyone from c5 crew would like to join the author's group, you are most welcome.

Last but not least,

It will be a tremendous pleasure if all C5 can go out for a trip to somewhere in next semester.
As it will be the final semester for us in Shah Alam, perhaps we can spend some quality time together
before going back to Gaya? Lol :P
A long awaited shooting among C5 is also a good event for some-getting-together-time
and with all the talented photographers among us,
the result will be amazing rite :P:P:P

so yeah, care to suggest more plans or even anything at all?
please drop your comments below!

Don't forget to burn that midnight oil; burying your head onto the notes/books or just keep your fingers crossed.. Haha, kidding!

Oh yes, one more friendly reminder: Do not forget to bring your MATRIX CARD, EXAMINATION SLIP and your STATIONERIES!
Plus, your concious mind and your 'memory' required to answer the papers.

Ok now, open up that notes...

TESL C5 Gaya's 4th Anniversary

10th of July 2010

That is the date of the FOURTH anniversary of TESL Cohort 5 Gaya! (As well as for our link comrades, C5 IPKB & our fellow friends back in Gaya Teacher-Training Institute in KK, PISMP Semester 6 - MT, PJK & PC)

On that day, which was yesterday (Saturday), we had an assembly in the morning for our co-curriculum activities at the main campus of UiTM Shah Alam. Guess what, about 80% of us C5 Gaya are in the Gamelan Club! Hah! We are SO going to rule the club, with our loudness & craziness!

And after we're done with the assembly, we had a simple gathering cum lunch at Seksyen 2 food court. Only 19 out of 25 of us were present. Since our allowance hasn't come out yet, that's the best we can do, for now. We would have celebrate our anniversary somewhere better or at least order a cake, like what we did for our first anniversary. Heh.

Anyway, here's the pics of us! Special thanks to my friend, Dayah for the pics :)

Dayah, the camera owner :)

Missing members: Awang, Phye, Fanzi, Kadrey, Farah & Mimie.

To my C5 Gaya friends,
_

It's been four years we have been together now.

We have seen each other grow & shifted from teens to young adults; we've been through a lot of hardships & challenges; sweet, sour, bitter taste of life together.

I'm sure all of you remember our foundation years, hostel life, TESL Camp, Pygmalion drama, Raya (and breaking fast/Sungkai) gatherings, our first year of degree, the time we first flew to UiTM Shah Alam, etc.

In these four years, we fought, cried, laughed, joked, played, studied, got scolded, got praised, shared secrets, helped each other, become friends & enemies (and COUPLES...ngehehe) and so much more.

We have another 2 years together before we will be posted all around Malaysia, and maybe not see each other again in the future *Gasp!* But now, I am wishing all 25 of us, ALL THE BEST for the current semester and all the best in the future.

And to our lecturers in Gaya college,

We have just ended our first week of lecture in our fifth semester, and the whole class is doing just fine here in UiTM. We are looking forward to see you in the college, in another 10months.

From, Ashley.

Fun Time's Over. Back to Shah Alam.

Hello everyone! It's kinda quiet here, isn't it? Well here's another post for all. (YAY!)

I'm guessing it's no secret that we'll be flying back to Shah Alam this July. (WHAT? REALLY??) Our touchdown dates might differ, but all the same, I'd like to wish everyone a safe flight to Shah Alam and may all of you bring things that we all can enjoy from all the trips ya'll been going to. Heh.

So anyway, usually Mimi or Ashley will be the one doing this, but this time I wanted to be the one to be reminding everyone about...yeap...what we should not forget to bring to Shah Alam. Here goes nothing...

1. IC and passport. But since we're Sabahans ('cept you Fara but you'll always be a Sabahan in our eyes :D) and we don't need passports to travel to the Peninsular...you can leave them at home (if you have them) or if you're planning a trip outside of the country, bring them. You know what, if you have it, bring it. Snang cita.

2. Enough clothes for approximately 6 months...that's about 10 suitcases. Or you can just buy them in Shah Alam. Whatever.

3. Anything that you packed in Shah Alam and brought back home to Sabah that you think might be useful for your studies e.g. you pencil case or whatever. Not just the pencil case, bring the pencil along with it aite.

That's all for the essentials. If you wanna bring anything, that's really up to you. In any case, for your own convenience, I would like to remind everyone, with a quote from my dad, 3 suitcases means you're over-packing. Okay I made that up. Common sense, really.

So that's it for now. Enjoy the rest of the holiday everyone. And I hope you had a good one.
